  • My husband and I had been searching for a church for many many months when we settled in Floyd County. We had gone to several churches and diligently prayed for the Lord to lead us to the one He wanted us in. I asked for a sign and was given one. I was raised a Catholic for 30 yrs, switched to another denomination so neither my husband or I were bound to any one faith. Although there were several churches worthy of attendance, we choose Mt Union. We were overwhelmed with the spirit of love from day one, nothing compared to how we felt and how we were received at Mount Union. As soon as we crossed the threshold we knew that this was the one. The Love within their walls was obvious from the beginning. As with every church there are issues that come up but the people welcome you in as part of each of their family. It'd be hard to beat but we will go, or stay, where God leads.
